TOMMY WALSH |
| Tommy Walsh ran his own small building business in Hackney, East London, which specialised in hard landscaping - the part of creating gardens which doesn't involve the planting. |
| He left school & went to work with his father, who manufactured garden products & did hard landscaping. He met the executive producer of Ground Force, while he was engaged in building work on her house. She asked his opinion on various pilots, including a new gardening challenge show & his comments were perceptive & pertinent. She invited him to take part in a screen test with Charlie Dimmock & they both joined Ground Force. Since that day Tommy has gone from strength to strength & has filmed 12 series of Ground Force. Ground Force was also filmed in America by BBC America featuring Charlie & Tommy. |
| Tommy is currently filming Fix It Yourself for Discovery Real Time & his latest series, Fix Your House for Free made in 2009 for Discovery Real Time was another successful series. In 2007, Tommy & his team pushed their talent & dexterity right to the edge going beyond anything he has previously attempted on TV, with the task of building a new home in 60 days for £60k. It was built in the most eco & cost-friendly manner as possible, with construction material which take into account eco benefits, cost, availability & ease of use. |

| 2009 Tommy Walsh joined forces with Danish company, Dansand A/S to launch Tommy Walsh's Choice Dansand Joint Filling Sand, a revolutionary new joint sand that inhibits weeds. |
| Tommy will be continuing his successful relationship with Direct Line Insurance which involves TV commercials & various other promotional activities. He also continues his relationship with the National Self Build Centre in Swindon & is the face of Tradessupermarket.com which provides fantastic offers & tips & tricks for the tradesmen. |
| He also does many personal appearances from garden centres to store openings. |
