JAMES MAY

James May is a motoring journalist who often refers to himself as "the other bloke from Top Gear". He first presented Channel 4's Driven before joining Jeremy Clarkson & Richard Hammond & earning the nickname 'Captain Slow' in challenges against his fellow hosts.

As a journalist, James has written for Autocar, Top Gear magazine, The Daily Telegraph, May on Motors & Oz & James Big Wine Adventure.

James, a beer drinker, also appears with Oz Clarke in the BBC series Oz & James' Big Wine Adventure. Together they have meandered through France & California wine country, Oz educating James along the way. The pair now entertain audiences at wine tastings.

Away from drinking & driving, James has had numerous TV appearances including of course Top Gear, Have I Got News for You, James May on the Moon & James May's Toy Stories. He reminisces about other quaint institutions & inventions in a series of books & Open University programmes celebrating James May's 20th Century.
