| Garry Richardson has been a broadcaster for the BBC for over 30 years. He is best known as the sports presenter on BBC Radio Four's Today programme & also presents Sportsweek on Five Live & Look Away Now for BBC Radio Four. He has won the prestigious Sony Gold (radios equivalent of an Oscar) for his Sportsweek programme. |

Down the years, Garry has interviewed a galaxy of stars & his stories about his broadcasting life have made him a hugely popular speaker. |
| During the past 20 years Garry has performed to a wide range of clients on the after dinner circuit. Garry believes that his popularity as a speaker is down to his routine. As he says, "All audiences will contain sports fans & even if you're not a sports fan my stories are so general it doesn't matter". This point is underlined by an appearance for the National School Bursars Association where 80% of the audience out of 250 were women. The organisation were so delighted with Garry's performance they booked him for their national event. It's at the corporate business dinners where Garry has proved to be an outstanding success. He has been booked no less than 9 times by the Institute of Directors & works regularly for Coutts Bank entertaining prospective new clients in the Directors dining room. |
