| Presenting the cookery programme Butterfingers for TASTE CFN received record viewing figures as well as presenting Radio 5's Comic Cuts including interviews with fellow comics Ruby Wax & Harry Enfield. Helen is also a regular columnist for Radio 4's Woman's Hour & a fun guest on Ready Steady Cook with slots at the BBC Food Show with chefs including Nick Nairn. Helen has also presented a series of musical concerts at the Wigmore Hall for young people. |
| Having established herself as one of Britain's best-known writer/comediennes in the 80s, Helen was soon commissioned by Hodder & Stoughton to write Single Minding & later by Penguin to write her first novel. |

| Helen is also a regular reviewer on BBC's Open Book programme & YOU magazine's Book Club as well as having a regular column on Radio 4's Woman's Hour. Her short stories have been published in the Daily Express & Girls Night In (Harper Collins).
