JILLY GOOLDEN

Jilly Goolden became famous as the most widely-known wine expert in the country by presenting televisions top-rated series, Food & Drink for nearly two decades.

She has also presented two highly successful series on antiques for the BBC, The Great Antiques Hunt & Going, Going, Gone. Jilly has presented a number of other programmes including Holiday, Holiday - You Call The Shots, Extreme Health & went on to appear as a contestant on the fifth series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

Jilly has featured on a number of various television programmes across all channels featuring both as a wine expert & as a personality including; Graham Norton, It's Only TV..., Stupid Punts, Jo Brands Hot Potatoes, Through The Keyhole, Watchdog, Weekend Watchdog, The Heaven & Earth Show, The Chelsea Flower Show, Extreme Health, I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here, Celebrity Masterchef, Celebrity Wife Swap & Britain's Best Dish.

She has also starred in a mini-drama written for her & directed by Pauline Quirke & performed in The Vagina Monologues at the Royal Albert Hall.

Jilly Goolden started as a journalist, contributing at some time or another to most national daily & weekly newspapers & glossy magazines published in Britain. As well as writing about wine, she has written about travel, womens issues, sex, the occult & a wide range of general features.

Jilly has written & contributed to books on wine & food as well as palmistry, which have featured strongly on the Sunday Times best-seller list. She has co-written books including five volumes of Food & Drink, Entertaining with Food & Drink & The Big Food & Wine Drink Book. Jilly also co-authored Your Hand - An Illustrated Guide to Palmistry.

Jilly's interests include gardening, animals, wildlife, horses, big adventures, ghosts & of course wine!
