JUDITH HANN

Judith Hann is one of Britain's leading science journalists & broadcasters & is known to millions for the 20 years she spent presenting BBC's Tomorrow's World as well as other programmes on technology, health, food & the environment.

After graduating from Durham University with a degree in Zoology, Judith trained as a newspaper journalist & has won the Glaxo Award for Science Writing on two occasions. She has written a number of books on subjects including science, child care, cooking & healthy lifestyle including How Science Works which became an international best-seller, having been translated into over twenty languages & selling over one million copies world-wide.

Judith regularly chairs conferences for major companies both in the UK & internationally, as well as for government departments & the European Commission. The government recently appointed her to sit on the Agriculture & Environment Biotechnology Commission. This has been set-up to give advice on future scientific developments in agriculture, including the genetic modification of crops & farm animals.

With her husband, John Exelby (former BBC News executive), they run a media training & presentation skills centre teaching people how to make the most of themselves & companies how to make the most of the media.

A highly experienced & popular after dinner speaker, Judith also delivers keynote & conference presentations & is in particular demand for her views on information technology, new technologies, health care, nutrition, futurology, telecommunications, conservation, the environment & ecology matters.
