| Les is probably best-known as the long-running host of Family Fortunes making it one of Britain's top TV game shows with viewing figures of over 14 million. This show recently won the Chellenge TV Viewers Award at the inaugural Challenge TV Gameshow Awards. |
| Les Dennis originally found fame on New Faces which subsequently landed his first series for BBC TV, The Les Dennis Laughter Show. Les later became a vital member of the zany Madhouse team appearing in each of the Russ Abbot's Madhouse series as well as the Madhouse specials that followed. |
| Les teamed up with fellow Madhouse regular Dustin Gee & both went on to star in three series of their own Laughter Show on television. Numerous other TV appearances followed including Go For It, Live From Her Majesty's & the Royal Variety Show. It was Dustin's untimely death in 1986 that made Les change career direction slightly by becoming the host of Family Fortunes. |
| Les' theatre credits include the leading role in the award-winning musical Me & My Girl at the Adelphi Theatre in London's West End & also made his big screen debut in the film Intimate Relations alongside Julie Walters & Rupert Graves. |
| More recently, Les came 2nd place to Mark Owen in Celebrity Big Brother & has also appeared as himself in an episode of Extras, by personal request of Ricky Gervais. Various other appearances include Ant & Dec's Gameshow Marathon, The Sound of Musicals & The Friday Night Project. |
