| Paul Zerdin is without doubt this country's top ventriloquist. |
| He began his career as a magician at the age of 15 & after ruining his GCSE's, decided that the only thing he could do was to go into showbusiness. For the next five years he appeared up & down the country on the club & holiday camp circuit honing his magic while slowly introducing his stand-up comedy & ventriloquism. At the age of 20 he landed his first 'proper' TV job as a presenter on GMTV's children's programme Rise & Shine. |
| Some years later Paul won ITV's nationwide The Big Big Talent Show hosted by Jonathan Ross. Since then Paul has appeared regularly on Tonight at the London Palladium & also the Royal Variety Show. |
| Amongst many other TV shows, Paul has appeared in Shirley Bassey's 60th Birthday Special (during which his puppet, Sam had the nerve to sing one of Shirley's own songs to her), The Generation Game, Late Night with Jerry Springer, Open House with Gloria Hunniford, Today with Des & Mel & Undercover Magic. He's also starred in TV commercials; Kelloggs, Persil & Honda & has entertained British forces in Iraq & Afghanistan. |

| Christmas 2007 was Paul's 13th year in pantomime appearing as Buttons in Cinderella alongside Nigel Havers at the Richmond Theatre, London. For Christmas 2008 Paul starred alongside John Barrowman in the box office smash hit Robin Hood at the Birmingham Hippodrome. |
| 2009 was a packed year, with shows in Las Vegas, Cape Town, Shanghai & Beijing (yes, really!) & also touring the UK with The Joe Pasquale Show - after another sell-out show at the 2009 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. |
| Paul is a Gold Star member of the Inner Magic Circle & has just been voted the best ventriloquist in his family. |
