STUART TURNER

Stuart Turner has had a life-long interest in motor sport. He competed as a co-driver on most major international rallies & was British Champion for two years.

He became Sports Editor of a leading motor sport magazine then Competition Manager for BMC, managing the team when Minis were winning Monte Carlo Rallies.

After a spell as Castrol's Publicity Manager, he ran Ford of Britain's Competitions Department, guiding the team to wins on the Safari & London-to-Mexico rallies along with many others. He then headed a special Ford Division which designed & manufactured performance cars before being made Director of Public Affairs at Ford.

After being given responsibility for Ford's race & rally programme across Europe, Stuart took them to World & European championships.

Stuart is the author of over twenty books on motor sport & business including; The Public Speaker's Bible, Public Speaking in Business & Planning and Organising Business Functions.

Stuart is one of the funniest after dinner speakers in the country. He won a Benedictine After Dinner Speaker of the Year award & Sir Stirling Moss said of his recent autobiography Twice Lucky; "A fast, funny & informative book. Actually, just what I would expect from the best after dinner speaker I know."

In addition to after dinner speaking, Stuart lectures on Team Building using motor sport for examples.
