Dermot Reeve is a former England Cricketer and now a commentator.

Dermot Alexander Reeve was born in Hong Kong on 2nd April 1963, and started at Sussex County Cricket Club in 1983.

In 1987, Dermot left Sussex and joined Warwickshire County Cricket Club.  He captained the team between 1993 and 1995, the most successful period of any County team.  Warwickshire won an unprecedented three trophies in 1994, the County Championship in 1995, and the NatWest Trophy in 1993 and 1995.

He was a member of the 1986 and 1989 NatWest winning teams and remain the only man to win 3 ‘Man of the Match’ awards in NatWest finals.

Dermot has played for England in 3 Test Matches and 29 One-Day Internationals, including the 1992 World Cup Final.

In the 1996 New Years Honours List, Dermot Reeve was awarded an OBE.  He is also one of the Wisden’s five Cricketers of the year (1995).

Dermot has been a Cricket Commentator for Sky TV and the BBC, and is currently the Coach for Somerset County Cricket Club, and a member of the Channel 4 Commentary Team.
