Debbie McGee

Debbie McGee began her showbiz career as a ballet dancer but one very successful audition saw her performing on stage with Paul Daniels and basically history was made.

Paul and Debbie performed together on his BBC series The Paul Daniels Magic Show where she became affectionately known to the nation as ‘the lovely Debbie McGee’ as Paul referred to her. The couple married in 1988 and in 1991 Debbie became the first female member of The Magic Circle.

In recent years Debbie has appeared on a number of TV programmes including Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, MasterChef, The Chase, Antiques Road Trip, The Pilgrimage and Strictly Come Dancing 2017 where she finished as runner-up in the final.

Debbie joined the panel of Loose Women in January 2018. She is a highly entertaining speaker and talented presenter.
