Ricky Wilson

Ricky Wilson is the lead singer of one of Britain’s most popular bands, Kaiser Chiefs.

The band have released 6 original studio albums to date including Education, Education, Education and War which entered the UK album charts at No. 1, achieved platinum record sales, top ten singles including the No. 1 hit Ruby, 3 Brit awards an Ivor Novello award for album of the year, toured with U2, Foo Fighters and Green Day and sold 8 million albums.

At the end of 2016 the group released their sixth album Stay Together which became their 5th top 5 album. The band recently completed a hugely successful UK arena tour and was followed by a slew of festivals and shows all over Europe in the summer.

Ricky has been a coach on The Voice UK alongside Sir Tom Jones, Will-I-Am, Boy George and Paloma Faith and was named the winning coach for the second year in a row in 2016. He hosted his own prime time entertainment show for Sky One called Bring the Noise with Nicole Scherzinger and Tinie Tempah and had a weekly show on Radio X.

He continues his presenting and broadcasting work recently filling in for Dermot O’Leary and Zoe Ball on BBC Radio 2 and co-hosting 3 episodes of BBC1s The One Show.
