Salsonito

Salsonito are one of the best-known  and established Latin/Salsa bands around. Lead by Percussionist Sam Bell and features Cuban Singer, Kiki Sire on lead Vocals, this high-energy band has a fine history of performances and recordings.

Originally the band held a residency at Casa Latina, a Leeds Salsa club back in 1996, then went on to play at all the major festivals and clubs around Britain including the Jazz Cafe and the New Year’s Eve Hogmanay festival in Edinburgh to an audience of 30,000!

Their repertoire ranges from Salsa classics through to modern Cuban alongside the New York sounds and featuring various other influences including Jazz, Funk and even Reggae.
