Simon Rimmer is the Chef and co-Presenter of Sunday Brunch, the morning show which wakes the nation up on a Sunday with a mix of chat, current affairs, guests and food.
Simon’s popularity really took off when he landed a role on the BBC2 Sunday show Something for the Weekend on which Simon interviewed guests and also cooked with them.
He’s presented and cooked across many shows including the Great British Waste Menu, Meals in Moments, The One Show, Breaking into Tesco, Recipe for Success and This Little Farmer Went to Market.
To add to his talents, Simon has written and published a number of successful books, the most recent of which is Men Love Pies, Girls Like Hummus. He also regularly contributes to food magazines including Delicious, Olive, BBC Good Food Magazine and Vegetarian Living.
Aside from his hectic filming schedule Simon is Chef Patron of his two award-winning restaurants in Manchester; Greens and Earle. As a restaurateur this is where Simon’s real passion for food lies. He continues to cook in the restaurants every week which he enjoys immensely but this also keeps him in touch with the culinary trends of the moment.
Away from TV, Simon is a big football fan and is involved with Manchester City Football Academy teaching young up and coming players about eating, nutrition and cooking at specially designed cookery courses.
